Illa Mateua - Constantine
To get to the dive site there are steps down to the pebble beach located next to the dive centre at the top. Decending the steps can be tricky in full scuba gear and entry is awkward due to the large stones in the water that make entry slightly slippery. Once in the water, the island is an easy dive and is used by local dive centres for instructing new divers. There is a small tunnel that runs through the island that makes it interesting enough for the novice. To locate the remains of the wreck you can swim past the front of the island and head to a rock at the far point of the bay. As the dive is shallow and air supply the limiting factor of the dive, you may like to swim out to this rock, where you can submerge directly onto sections of the wreck.
