The
rugged Costa Brava has bays and coves, caves and caverns, tunnels, walls,
islands and wrecks to explore underwater. It includes zones where wildlife
is strictly protected. With an abundance of dive sites comes an abundance
of dive centres, and wherever you stay you will never be far from somewhere
you can dive from.

| Please note that dive insurance is compulsory in
Spain and in the case of a diving emergency the hyperbaric chamber will
ask you for your insurance details. You should therefore ensure that
you have travel insurance that covers scuba, or separate scuba insurance,
such as that offered by DAN. Once DAN are alerted of a diving accident,
they will manage the emergency services for you. It is worthwhilke remembering
that even if you are not a member of DAN, you can call them for advice
in an emergency. |
